Animated H.P. Lovecraft film casts Ron Perlman and Christopher Plummer
In October of 2015 it was announced that Shout! Factory had acquired the rights to Howard Lovecraft and the Frozen Kingdom from Arcana Studios and today, it found some actors to give the project a voice: Ron Perlman and Christopher Plummer.
Perlman is giving voice to Shoggoth and Plummer will lend his voice talents to the role of DR. Herbert West.
If you've never read the book, you can find it on Amazon. The book takes elements from his classic horror stories and blends it into some facts of H.P. Lovecraft’s actual childhood, including his father’s nervous breakdown.
Hopefully this will be a great way to introduce the works of Lovecraft to a young audience who will appreciate the old ones!
